First, the Groom take bath with Haldi and that Haldi has to reach Bride House. Then the Bride takes bath with that Haldi. Before Haldi the Bride and Groom both take some blessings from older family members.
The Bride's relative comes Groom house in evening to take the Groom for Marriage. Groom go to the Bride's house with his family and friends. It called Borjatri. Then after some Ashirvad, The Marriage will start in Evening at Proper Time fixed by Panjika.
In the procedure of Bengali Marriage, there are few interesting steps, those are Pitri Tarpan, Konyadan, Saat Paak, Subhoo Dristi, Mala Bodol, Jogyo and Khoi Dhala. Then the couple takes rest for the night and next morning few more steps will complete like Jogyo and Sindoor Daan at the Last. Bidaai will complete on or before evening. Groom reach his house with his wife on the evening and play some Women Rituals.Second Night is Called Kaal Ratri. Bride and Groom don't look each other for the night.
The reception will be organised on the Third day evening on Groom Place. People are invited to welcome the new bride and give their blessings to them. On the Third night the Phool Sojya will come and Two People come closer and be a Couple.
People will forget what was the menu, what was the decoration, what was the music, what was the dresses. People will forget everything about your marriage. Only phootgraphs help them to rememberring the moments what they lived. After decades, the next genration also will be feel your marriage with only Photographs. So don't ignore the photographs and don't underestimat the power of photography.
